It’s been a while
Yeah.. it’s been a while. This time of year is typically pretty crappy for me. This is the time of year I tend to get a little bummed out because I realize that Summer is damn near over and I haven’t done 1/4 of the things I wanted to do this year.
For instance, I wanted to get our back yard in shape… I’m pretty sure it’s worse now than it has been since we moved into our house.
I’ve wanted to go camping. We haven’t been yet.
I wanted to take the kids to the park a lot. We’ve been about 4 times.
I wanted to take the kids fishing a few times. Although we actually have been fishing, it’s not exactly been successful. Typically the fishing excursions go like pretty much like this… I spend all my time baiting the hooks, the kids spend all their time flinging worm filled hooks around till the worm falls off and I have to bait the hook again. The timing is pretty good. Typically it takes about the same amount of time for a worm to fly off of the hook as it takes for me to bait the other hook, so we get a good rotation going on.
On the work front, summer is ending, that means all the kids are coming back to school and with them, the faculty. That means we got a lot of work to do to get ready for the start of the school year. So much for playing Tower Defense 
Anyway, just thought I’d say hi to all you people that don’t read my blog.
